Terms of Service
Last updated: March 31, 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using the Vayvara platform ("Service") provided by Stratalynx, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Legal operator and contact
The Vayvara website and platform are operated by Stratalynx ("Stratalynx", "we", "us") from Singapore. The public-facing brand is Vayvara. For questions about these Terms, privacy requests, and copyright notices, contact support@vayvara.com. If you need company registration number, registered address, or other formal legal details for Stratalynx, ask by email and we will provide current information where it exists.
The Service
Vayvara provides a platform for discovering and sharing human-made music and related features. The Service may change; we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where appropriate.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.
Content
You may not upload or distribute content you do not have rights to, or content that infringes others' rights. AI-generated or assembled music may be restricted as described in our community standards and About / FAQ. Copyright complaints are handled under our copyright policy (designed for Singapore law, including the Copyright Act 2021, as well as common international notice practice).
License from artists (uploads)
When you upload audio, cover art, or related materials as an artist account holder, you grant Vayvara a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, perform publicly (including digital streaming to end users), display (including artwork and metadata), and distribute that content through the Service and reasonable promotional channels for the Service (such as previews, search, and lawful marketing of the platform), for as long as your content remains on Vayvara unless you or we remove it sooner. You represent that you control the rights needed to grant this license (including for collaborators and samples where required). You may remove your content subject to technical and legal limits; removal may not erase all copies immediately from backups or caches. This license survives only as needed to operate archival, legal, or dispute-resolution processes where the law requires retention.
Acceptable use
No unlawful activity, harassment, malware, scraping that overloads the Service, or attempts to bypass security. Respect artists and listeners.
Automation, APIs, and the client
You may not use bots, scrapers, or high-volume automated access to harm performance, evade technical limits, or extract data outside what we intentionally provide (for example through excessive or abusive request rates). You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the Service or its client applications in order to defeat security, misuse our infrastructure, or compete unfairly with the platform. Normal use of the website and official apps is not restricted by this paragraph.
Technical enforcement
We may use rate limiting, fraud prevention, content security policies, logging, and account restrictions to protect the Service and users. We may monitor traffic patterns and errors for security and reliability; see our Privacy Policy for how personal data is handled.
Suspension, termination, and changes
We may suspend or terminate accounts or access to the Service, or remove or restrict content, with or without prior notice, when we reasonably believe it is necessary for security, legal compliance, or to protect users and the platform. We may also change or discontinue the Service or features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss of uploads, data, or account access (for example after termination, removal, or outages); you should keep your own backups of material you care about. Nothing in this paragraph limits non-excludable statutory rights or mandatory consumer protections.
Paid plans, billing, and refunds (Paddle)
Paid digital plans for Vayvara are sold by Paddle as the authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, on behalf of Stratalynx as Supplier. Your payment relationship is with the relevant Paddle entity; fees, renewals, cancellations, statutory withdrawal (including the 14-day withdrawal right for qualifying EU/EEA/UK Consumers), and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy, as summarised in our Refunds & billing policy. If these Terms, that policy, or checkout copy conflict, the Paddle documents and the terms shown at purchase control for payment and refunds, and mandatory consumer law still applies where it cannot be excluded.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1972, the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, and other consumer protection rules in Singapore where they apply to you), we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where the law allows an aggregate cap on our liability for claims relating to the Service, that cap is the greater of amounts you paid Stratalynx (including amounts paid through Paddle for the Service) in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred Singapore dollars (S$100). Some kinds of loss cannot lawfully be limited or excluded; if a court or regulator finds part of this section unfair or unenforceable, the rest remains effective to the extent permitted. This section does not limit non-excludable statutory rights.
Governing law and disputes
Vayvara is operated from Singapore. These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Subject to mandatory consumer protections in the place where you live, you and we agree that the courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service. Nothing limits your right to pursue remedies in your home jurisdiction where applicable law requires.
